has been fastidiously maintained and drives and looks like a car with half the miles. it has spent nearly all of its life garaged, it has a comprehensive history coupled with the fact it has just under gone a full service, recent disks and pads, and a gearbox oil service. and fairly recent tyres.It has a huge spec for a 911 including alcantara roof lining, sports seats, switchable exhaust, Factory Bose upgrade, Factory GT3 kit, Porsche command system, including SATNAV, blue tooth phone prep, and probably things I have forgotten to mention. The interior is in excellent order with Porsche over matts and has never been smoked in. there is a small patch on the drivers seat where the stitching has started to come apart, I have been quoted £70 to get this done but it never really bothered me and you cant see it anyway. but this would make the interior perfect. The exterior is in excellent order with no known scratches or dents with only one or two stone chips on the front bumper it has never been in an accident or stolen and is free from finance.I am only selling because I don`t really have the time to justify it as it spends most on the time in the garage under its cover :)I am in no way desperate to sell so will not entertain or answer silly offers.  | Porsche 944 Lux .The car was purchased in 2007. The following work has been carried out. New windscreen washer pump, new bonnet dampers, new speedometer sensor, new timing...>
belt, auxiliary balance shaft belt and rollers, new steering boots, inner and outer sills repaired, new windscreen wiper connecting rod, new clutch slave cylinder, new fuel filter, new track rod ends. Various small areas of rust have been cut out and welding repairs made to make the car relatively rust free. The entire underside of the car has been treated with waxoil. The interior is generally in good condition with very little wear to the drivers seat. The car starts first time every time and has been very reliable. The car has been driven with care and kept sheltered whist not being used. Handling is as good as all the write-ups claim. There are no nasty noises from the engine and no excessive exhaust smoke. I have all of the service receipts and documentation. Service book is stamped by Porsche specialists only from mileage 1306 - 107568. There is a working remote control to open and lock the car and a spare ignition key.I would like to point out the things which to my knowledge are wrong with the car. Interior clock doesn`t work, interior lights don`t work, although they did when the car was purchased. The rear tailgate release button doesn`t work but likewise did when the car was purchased. The tailgate has to be released with the key instead. As far as I am aware, the interior light and tailgate release button are connected, so the two may be repaired together. There is a small hole at the top of the rear nearside passenger seat, which looks as if it may have been caused by a cigarette burn and some of the interior trim has some minor issues all of which could be rectified reasonably easily or without too much expense. The hatch carpet is worn around the battery area. The gear lever gaiter could do with replacing. Occasionally the petrol gauge will register as zero but with a light tap of the dial it will spring back to it`s correct position. There is a crack in the windscreen which has not become any worse since I have owned the car, neither has it caused the car to fail the M.O.T. test which I should also add, has been carried out by a reputable local engineers, Autocraft Engineering. Some of the panels of the car have been painted more recently and therefore appear a slightly different shade than the others.The Porsche 944 has always been one of my favourite cars and one that I have always wanted to own. I have had my fun and now have other things are in my sights. There are other similar cars being advertised, some of which maybe cheaper but I believe this to be a good car with most of the work done and therefore will not require the sort of attention that others will. The new owner will be able to immediately enjoy the car, it will also offer a good starting base for any serious restoration project. I really am gutted about it, but my loss is your gain...Being the stunning "speed yellow" this car really does stand out from the crowd and is NOT for the shy or introverted as it DOES turn heads - especially in the summer with the roof down! When I bought the car I chose the 2.7 litre version as the reviews of the 2.5 litres described them as "under powered", and the 3.2 litres would have just been too much to justify spending on the insurance. car drives well and the 5 speed dog leg gear box is smooth and precise. The clutch is well weighted with a recent new master cylinder. I have an excellent history file dating back to when the car came into the country from the USA in 1998 with receipts in excess of £15,000. Lots of ongoing work is well documented through the years. Current mileage of 91,200 I am the 4th owner since 98 and the car is obviously on historic tax and is MOT’d until June 2012. The cars last owner had a respray in 2007 but the car is in need of some cosmetics to bring it up to scratch. The car is solid but will need some paintwork, where there are some bubbles and blemishes on rear wing, cills, bonnet, front wing and one headlight surround. Some areas will need attention and a respray would be the long term way to go. Orginal colour was Irish green. Brightwork is all in good shape. The Fuches are in need of a refurb which would really set the car off against the poppy red paintwork. Interior is in good condition and has been re-trimmed in the past with new carpets, headlining, seats and door cards etc but its all very tidy and a pleasant place to be. Wood dash and classic Nardi steering wheel all complement each other well. Again, some TLC is required but its all easy stuff to take care of. There is no jack or wheel brace but the spare is also a Fuche with a good tyre. Tyres are ok but will soon need replacing. Drivers side window doesnt wind all the way up and the passenger quarterlight needs alignment to stop a bit of wind noise. The clock doesnt work but again probably an easy fix. New plugs, leads and gaskets just fittted too. I Also have the original engine (seized unit, unknown reason, had no time to examine cause.) which I was due to have work done on at a later date. All of the ancillaries such as carbs, dynamo, distributor, tinware etc have been used on the replacement engine. This engine will be sold with the car if the car is sold for the advertised price only. Current engines are hard to find and this unit may be a straightforward fix for the knowledgeable and can either be tuned up and put back in and sell the current engine. The car is a very driveable classic with cosmetic work required to bring it up to scratch ready for next summer ! I can email anyone interested with more pictures of the suspect areas. Have googled the kit and it seems a replica of the Techart Magnum kit, It`s been stored in my friends lock up garage, but I now need to move it as he is giving it up at the end of february. The original service book is fully stamped from new to today, with only Porsche specialists. We have a full folder of bills and photographs of work carried out. I have used Jaz in Wembley for annual servicing and all other work during my ownership.I took a long time looking for this one and it has been a joy to own. The car is only driven in the dry and is garaged at all times - in fact I have only covered 6K miles over the time I`ve had it. Including a drive to the Spa for the Grand Prix and to South of France - all a breeze and an amazing car for long runs.OK. Some of the details you`ll be wanting to know about:Car is Prussian Blue metallic - the photos look a little darker than it appears in real life. It is perfect, spotless, no rust anywhere.Interior is cream full leather and in great condition. Slight scuffing on the outside of the drivers seat but that`s it. Dash is dark blue as per bodywork and in perfect condition.It has black unmarked Fuchs wheels as per photos - I have some close up shots somewhere but basically they are in perfect condition. pack fited, find another?2005 `05` Porsche Boxster 2.7 987 shape. This car is fully HPI clear on all registers. Checked using official HPI website, not some cheap text check that gives duff info! I bought this car in March from a dealer. It had 95k on it and i have covered 8k mostly trouble free miles in it! Mileage is 103k, but I can tell you it runs absolutely perfect. It was in at a Porsche specialist on Friday 16th December having 6 new coil packs and 6 new plugs fitted as it developed a misfire. It is a very common problem due to the location of them on the engine. I opted to replace all 6 and to do the plugs at the same time as to not have any others fail and have to do it all over again! This guy serviced it a few months ago and commented on how good it was, and again has commented that it drives better that some 30k cars he has driven! The engine is BONE dry no leaks anywhere. Drives superb no issues what so ever!It has a full service history by Porsche Chester up until 80k, It has had a new clutch by porsche at 95k,I then had it serviced by a specialist in April at 96k, and then has had 6 new coils and plugs fitted at 102600 miles. Brand new rear discs and handbrake shoes fitted this weekend 103150miles. I also fitted a new battery in August.Spec wise its pretty good, it has the Sport pack which gives 6 speed gearbox, Sports steering wheel and PASM. This allows you to adjust the suspension on the fly to a hard/lower setting. It also has Boxster s alloys, and also benefits from full black leather interior and heated front seats Bodywork is very good, there is a small scratch on the bonnet that is about 2 1/2" Long and that was there when I bought it, also the rear arch has a tiny tiny ding on it. It looks like a dent man has tried to wiggle it out but you can still see it. Not much more to say really! Comes with 2 keys and the small plastic one.
